What it is, what it costs, who sees what, and what it cannot do.
What is ResonanceME?
A self-knowledge and matching tool. You answer honest questions about what you stand on (the SELF domain), then compare with a friend or a partner to see where you fit and where you differ. It is not a clinical or psychological assessment.
How long does it take?
About a minute of getting-to-know-you questions, then about 9 minutes for SELF. The LOVE domain adds about 15 minutes if you want a Love Match. You can stop and come back.
Is it free?
SELF is free, and so are Friend Matches, with no limit. A Love Match costs A$19, once per match, and covers both of you. Prices are in Australian dollars.
What does the other person pay?
Nothing. Only the person who sends a Love Match pays, and the person they invite completes their side for free.
What happens if they never finish?
The match stays open until they do. Nothing is released to either of you in the meantime.
Who can see my answers?
You can. A match sees the reading, never your individual answers. We use AI (Anthropic's Claude) to write your analysis and match reports, and we do not sell your personal data or use your answers for advertising. The Privacy Policy has the detail.
Is this a psychological test?
No. It is a structured set of questions built on published research into why people stay together or drift apart. We have not yet run formal reliability or validity studies of our own questions. Read the research and its limits on our science page.
Will it tell me whether a relationship will last?
No. Research on whether similar partners do better is mixed, so we describe where two people differ and what that might mean. It is a prompt for an honest conversation, not a prediction.
Where is my data stored?
In a database hosted in Sydney, Australia. Some of our providers, such as the AI provider and our email and payment services, run infrastructure overseas. The Privacy Policy lists them.
Can I delete my data?
Yes. Email privacy@resonanceme.com from the address on your account and we will delete your account and answers. Matches you were part of, and reports already delivered to someone else, may remain.
What if something goes wrong with a payment?
If a payment is taken but the invite is not sent, or the report cannot be generated, email support@resonanceme.com within 14 days and we will fix it or refund you. A Love Match is delivered digitally, so we do not offer refunds for change of mind, but nothing here limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Who can use it?
ResonanceME is for adults aged 18 and over.
